Born in 1948 in Riga, Latvia.
Professional training - Riga Applied Arts High school (1969-1972), Latvian Academy of Art, Textile Art Department (1973-1978). Member of Latvian Artists' Union since 1982. Member of the Association of Latvian Textile Art since 1995. She has contributed to major exhibitions of textile and applied art in Latvia since 1977 and has had several solo shows in Latvia and Germany.
Participation in jury and group exhibitions in Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, Belgium, Australia, Poland, Canada, USA, Japan, Russia, Italy and France.
Works in collections: Decorative Applied Art Museum of Latvia, Russian Artists' Union, Latvian Embassy in Denmark, private collections in Germany, Norway, Australia, Canada, USA, Russia, Italy, Finland and Mexico.
