Born in Riga 1964. Professional education:  Latvian Academy of Arts, Textile department (1985 – 1992).
Member of Latvian Young Artists' Union since 1990. Member of Latvian Textile Artists' Association.
Contributor to exhibitions since 1986, participation in juried and group exhibitions in Latvia, Germany, Australia, Holland and Italy, several solo shows (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998).
Works in private collections: in Latvia,  Germany, U.S.A., Sweden, England, France, Israel, Holland and Norway.
