Born in 1948 in Riga, Latvia. Professional training - Riga Applied Arts High school (1963-1968), Latvian Academy of Arts, Textile Art Department (1973-1978). Master's degree obtained at Latvian Academy of Arts (1993). Member of the Latvian Artists' Union (1975), member of Latvian Textile Art Association (1993). Participation in numerous jury and group exhibitions in Finland, Germany, France, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Japan and Australia. Teacher at the Latvian Academy of Arts', Textile Art Department Teacher at the Latvian Academy of Arts’, Textile Art Dapartment Works in collections: Decorative and Applied Art Museum (Riga, Latvia), museums in Russia, private collections in Finland, Sweden, Brazil, Israel, Turkey and USA. |
