IRA ROZENTALE

Bom in 1959. Professional training: Riga Applied Arts School (1974 - 1979), Painting Department at the Latvian Academy of Arts (1981 - 1988) under the supervision of professor I. Vecozols. Postgraduate courses at the Master Studio supervised by professor B. Berzins.
Contributor to exhibitions since 1980. A member of the Artists' Union of Latvia as of 1989. A member of the B - 13 Association (1993 - 1998) since 1993.
Several personal exhibitions in Riga, Germany and Paris. Group exhibitions in Riga, Vilnius, the Netherlands, Austria, the United States, France, and Australia.
Her works are to be found in the collections of Arsenals Art Museum and Artists' Union of Latvia, Russian Academy of Arts, "Arthur Andersen L Co" Gallery in Hamburg, as well as in private collections in Latvia, Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, the United States, Canada, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
Gold medal of the USSR Ministry of Culture in 1989.
