ZARINS KRISTAPS

Born in 1962. Professional training: Janis Rozentals Art School of Riga (1973 - l980), Painting Department at the Latvian Academy of Arts (1980 - 1986) under the supervision of professor I. Vecozols. Improvement courses at the Sorbonne University, Art Plastique, E.N.S.B.A. in the Master Studio of professor Silvestri in Paris (1989 - 1990). Master of Fine Arts.
Contributor to exhibitions since 1979. A member of the Artists' Union of Latvua as of 1987. A member of the B - 13 Association
(1993 - 1998) since 1993.
Personal exhibitions in Paris (Bernanos Gallery, 1990) and Riga (1992). Group exhibitions in Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Germany, Denmark, France, Morocco, the Netherlands, Japan and elsewhere.
His works are to be found in the collections of the Ministry of Culture and Artists' Union of Latvia, Ministry of Culture of Russia and Russian Art Fund, as well as in private collections in Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Germany, Austria, France, Great Britan, Italy.
Currently professor at the Latvian Academy of Arts.
